To mark National Sorry Day, a series of support workshops have been called this Sunday at Mudgin-Gal Aboriginal Women’s Centre to assist families affected by forced child removal. The workshops will inform families of their legal rights within the care & protection system and will offer a space for the sharing of stories from many perspectives. These workshops will invite the community to share ideas about how to create grass-roots networks of support and empower affected families from the bottom up.

Former delegate to the FACS Aboriginal Reference Group (NSW) and facilitator.
The day will close with a sandalwood smoking circle.
